Not a researcher? ExitHow the material is made, tested, dried and handled before it reaches a bench — and what that means for the reliability of what you measure downstream.
Two different questions get answered before a batch is released: how clean is it, and is it the right molecule. HPLC answers the first — the sample is run through a chromatographic column and purity is reported as the main peak’s share of total peak area, which is why you see figures like ≥99%. Mass spectrometry answers the second, confirming that the measured molecular weight matches the expected sequence. One without the other is half an answer: a spotless chromatogram of the wrong molecule is still the wrong molecule.
Worth knowing when you compare suppliers: chromatographic purity is not the same thing as net peptide content. Lyophilized peptides also contain bound water and counter-ions, so a vial can be 99% pure while the peptide itself is a smaller fraction of the powder’s mass. A serious certificate distinguishes the two rather than quoting one big number. Every batch we release carries its own report — see the lab reports.
Peptides degrade fastest in solution — hydrolysis, oxidation and aggregation all need water to do their work. Lyophilization (freeze-drying) removes that water under vacuum while the material is frozen, leaving a porous white cake that is dramatically more stable at transit temperatures. That is why everything here ships dry, with no cold chain needed for normal shipping durations, and why the vial you receive contains powder rather than liquid.
The cake itself tells you something. A well-formed lyophilized cake is uniform, white and slightly snow-like, holding the shape of the freeze. A cake that has melted back or collapsed into a glassy ring suggests it saw moisture or heat somewhere along the line — if that is ever what arrives, photograph it and contact us.
Lyophilized peptides are reconstituted with a suitable laboratory diluent — bacteriostatic water is the standard preserved laboratory diluent. The mechanics matter more than they look: peptides are long, fragile molecules, and aggressive agitation can shear or aggregate them. The pattern that preserves material integrity in the lab:
Standard bench practice applies. Work with gloves and eye protection, use aseptic technique when drawing from a septum-sealed vial — wipe the stopper, use a fresh sterile needle, never leave a needle seated in the septum — and label reconstituted vials with the compound, concentration and date, because an unlabelled vial is unusable data a week later. Dispose of sharps and unused material through your institution’s chemical-waste route, not the drain. All of it in service of the same goal: that what you measure downstream reflects the compound, not the handling.
The catalog clusters into a handful of well-studied classes. Incretin-pathway agonists (the GLP family) are studied for how gut-hormone receptor signalling regulates glucose handling and energy balance. Growth-hormone secretagogues and GHRH analogs (Ipamorelin, CJC-1295, Sermorelin, Tesamorelin) are used to probe the GH axis. Repair peptides (BPC-157, TB-500 and their blends) feature in tissue-repair and angiogenesis models, while copper peptides like GHK-Cu appear throughout collagen and skin-remodelling research. Melanocortin agonists (Melanotan II, PT-141) act on receptors involved in pigmentation and sexual-response pathways, and the longevity and cognitive set — Epitalon, NAD+, MOTS-c, Semax, Selank, DSIP — covers telomere, mitochondrial, neuropeptide and sleep-architecture research. Each product page states the class and the research context; none of it is a claim about effects in people.
